What we stand for
We agree on some core principles and
agree to argue honestly on everything else.
We make the following commitments:
Ethics
For the duration
of our service, we swear that we will put our country and our cause
ahead of
everything but our family and our faith.
Fiscal Sanity
We will restore
fiscal sanity to the Federal government. We are going to wipe out 200
years of
political back-scratching, corruption, fraud, waste, and abuse and put
every
program on a road to fiscal solvency or elimination.
We will spend fewer actual dollars in 2011
than DC does in 2010, and fewer in 2012 than in 2011.
We will be running a budget surplus within 5
years and we’ll pay off all of our national debts within 10 years after
that. Then we can give all of the money we used to spend on interest payments to wealthy foreigners back to the American taxpayer.
Fighting Smart
We have soldiers on the field of
battle, fighting
and killing and dying for us
everyday; we will not waste them.
We will fight smart and we
will not jeopardize our warriors for political gain. We will approach
our military and
intelligence responsibilities as Americans, not party hacks and/or
greedy corruptocrats.
Our Children
We will not wait
any longer to for DC to fix our schools.
We’ve lost two generations to the Big City Machine
union/patronage systems
masquerading as schools, and we are not losing one more
child.
Individual Rights
We will advance the American ideal of individual
liberties and we will not discriminate for or against any American.
Rule Of Law
We are a nation of laws, and we will either enforce the law or change the law through
the democratic process. When you reward illegal behavior, you get more illegal behavior.
For everything
else, as a group we take no position.Why we take no other positions as a
group
Our
core platform is why we run;
our flexibility on all other issues reflects our humility and our
practicality.
We know that humans have much to be humble about, and we do not have
all the
answers. We need to
be able to successfully
contest seats across the country:
West
Coast to Northeast, Midwest, South and Rockies. Particularly Democratic
rural and suburban
seats in the Midwest
and North. We
leave the conservative Democrats(Blue Dogs) alone, leave most
Republicans alone, and focus on districts where we can win, not just
advertently help the incumbent win reelection.
We need candidates
So, the time has come for some hard questions.
Are
you a leader in one of the districts
we’ve
targeted? We
need
you.
Can you commit to
our platform? It’s
a small set of American Revolutionary principles, starting
with your ethical core.
Are you willing to
work harder than you have every worked in
your life? We’ll
work with you and for
you, and we will finance your campaign.
Can you pass the
Franken standard for drugging, drinking,
and whoring? Yeah
right. That only
works for Democrats; the media will
look harder at you than they did at O.
Are
you willing to stand up and shoulder this burden?
Will you honor the millions of Americans that
have gone before you, and our countless descendents, and help us to
rescue this
great country of ours?
Our candidates need help
If you can’t run, can you
commit to
working to elect our fifty? You
have to start now, today, tonight!
The DC incumbent protection racket is a tough
nut to crack, the Parties have stacked the deck against us;
we have to start working to defeat them now. Contact potential
candidates in your district
and get them to run. Adopt
a candidate,
whether you are in the district or not, and commit to helping them. Organize, speak out, stand
up! Talk us up,
write about our candidates; blog,
tweet, write letters to the editor.
Make
and distribute videos. Stay
on message
and stick to the core principles. Write for our wiki, become a District
Coordinator. Contact us, we can offer many suggestions and we
need lots of help.
Think strategically - Stop the juggernaut
Here’s the hardest part:
we may call on you to support candidates that you
disagree
with on
issues you hold dear. They
will be
committed to our core principles, but on issues related to social
mores, they
may hold positions you oppose. How
can
you support someone who you may disagree with on, for example, gay
marriage? That
is
very difficult, but we
ask you to think strategically, with your eyes on the prize of stopping
the "Progressive" destruction of the American Way of Life.
Better a
fiscal conservative/ socially liberal independent than a fiscal drunken
sailor/ social extremist Pelosi democrat. (Our apologies to drunken
sailors).
Our fifty candidates will need money later; if you can’t
help in any other way and you’re not poor, please support them
financially.
Your country calls.
