This is a classic FireFifty district and we really need to take it away from the liberal incumbent Sanford Bishop. He is incredibly more "Progressive" than this hard-working rural and suburban district in Southwestern Georgia. Georgia 2 has voted for a Democrat every election since 1875! Yes, 1875. Clearly the Republican party is just not up to the task of providing a credible alternative to the Democratic party in this district. This is why an Independent, a Tea Party Independent, can and will win in this district in 2010. We are much more closely aligned with the core values of the people of Georgia 2 than Nancy Pelosi and Sanford Bishop.
