Our Request for Tea Party Movement Support

Hello

We write to you as fellow Americans in common cause, defending our American Revolutionary heritage, to ask for your assistance and support and to offer ours in return. We believe the Tea Party Movement needs to set and achieve some specific electoral goal in order to advance. We believe that goal should be to deny Democrats a majority in the House in 2010. This is achievable; this stops the “Progressive” destruction machine at the earliest available opportunity; this gives our caucus a voice in all Federal fiscal decisions, and positions us well for the future. We propose to elect a slate of independents in 2010, a coalition of individuals running and winning as independents, and deny both major parties the 218 votes they need to run the House. Our coalition may only have fifty people, but with neither party having a majority we effectively control the House.

We choose the best 75 districts to contest, we apply national resources to these 75 local races, and we fire as many incumbents as we can(but at least 50). Our list of races is based in part on the Cap & Tax vote: we currently have 8 Republicans and 86 Democrats as potential targets. We take the contest to our opponents and will run and win in rural and suburban currently Democratic districts in the Midwest and Northeast. These voters are beginning to see what destruction the “Progressives” are causing and would like to not vote for them again. They don’t want to vote Republican either, though. The elected Republicans have demonstrated a stunning lack of competence in governing, and a proclivity for stupid, embarrassing sexual shenanigans. The Tea Party Movement can win in these districts. We are Independents; we can win as Independents.

Our coalition has an extremely limited platform based on personal ethics, fiscal sanity, and American democratic ideals. We believe that independents across the country and people of good faith across the political spectrum can support and run on and win with this platform. Many issues that you and your group may hold dear may not be in this platform, and we ask you to consider this strategically. If we are going to do this, we need to be able to win Congressional districts in Massachusetts: we need the Teamster who voted for Ronald Reagan, we need to split the good faith Democrats from the “Progressives”.

Our strategy is to leave the hard core Machine politicians and extreme “Progressives” alone and in place. They are generally in very safe districts, usually via gerrymandering, and are pretty untouchable. Also, we want them to be the voice of the Democratic Party.

We also generally leave the Blue Dog (conservative) democrats alone. They are starting to come around on the danger posed by the “Progressives” and they may be able to stop some of the madness now. We think that they are potential coalition partners with us and we have some long term plans of splitting them off from the “Progressives” altogether.

That leaves the wishy-washy, middle of the road party hacks that speak out of both sides of their mouth but ultimately know that their bread is buttered by San Fran Nan, and they vote the party line. They are the enablers of the “Progressives”. They are vulnerable and are generally unaccustomed to serious opposition. Republicans can’t seem to win in these districts; as Independents we can and will.

We ask the following of you:

The Parties are still counting on their old model that not enough of the voters can sign their name to get an Independent on the ballot. Well, the world has changed; we have the tools to get these Independents on the ballot, and the need to win these races. We've all demonstrated our willingness to stand up for America; let's clean House.
