Will the Republican party put America ahead of Party interests in NY-23 Special Election?

We are independents, many from the Tea Party movement, disaffected Democrats and unhappy Republicans, who are going to Fire Fifty members of the House of Representatives in 2010. The House needs some adult supervision. With a 50 member independent caucus, we control the House of Representatives.

We agree on some core principles and agree to argue honestly on everything else. We make the following commitments:

Ethics For the duration of our service, we swear that we will put our country and our cause ahead of everything but our family and our faith.
Fiscal Sanity We will restore fiscal sanity to the Federal government. We are going to wipe out 200 years of political back-scratching, corruption, fraud, waste, and abuse and put every program on a road to fiscal solvency or elimination. We will spend fewer actual dollars in 2011 than DC does in 2010, and fewer in 2012 than in 2011. We will be running a budget surplus within 5 years and we’ll pay off all of our national debts within 10 years after that. Then we can give all of the money we used to spend on interest payments to wealthy foreigners back to the American taxpayer.
Fighting Smart We have soldiers on the field of battle, fighting and killing and dying for us everyday; we will not waste them. We will fight smart and we will not jeopardize our warriors for political gain. We will approach our military and intelligence responsibilities as Americans, not party hacks and/or greedy corruptocrats.
Our Children We will not wait any longer to for DC to fix our schools. We’ve lost two generations to the Big City Machine union/patronage systems masquerading as schools, and we are not losing one more child.
Individual Rights We will advance the American ideal of individual liberties and we will not discriminate for or against any American.
Rule Of Law We are a nation of laws, and we will either enforce the law or change the law through the democratic process. When you reward illegal behavior, you get more illegal behavior.
For everything else, as a group we take no position.

Our core platform is why we run; our flexibility on all other issues reflects our humility and our practicality. We know that humans have much to be humble about, and we do not have all the answers. We need to be able to successfully contest seats across the country: West Coast to Northeast, Midwest, South and Rockies. Particularly Democratic rural and suburban seats in the Midwest and North. We leave the conservative Democrats(Blue Dogs) alone, leave most Republicans alone, and focus on districts where we can win, not just advertently help the incumbent win reelection.
